Late-Breaking Abstract
Abstract submission has been closed on July 31, however, we assume there are some more researchers with latest accomplishments. To make the meeting more meaningful, we would like to call for “Late-Breaking Abstract” from those who could not make it in time for the former deadline.
We look forward to receiving your abstracts!
Late-Breaking Abstract Submission Period:
September 1 (Mon) – September 30 (Tue),
2025, 17:00 JST
*No extension will be granted.
* Abstract submission must be completed by 17:00 JST on September 30.
* Please note that after 17:00, you cannot submit or edit your abstract even if you are still logged in the system. Please submit your abstract well in advance.
・Presentation style for Late-Breaking Abstract is poster presentation only.
・Posters of Late-Breaking Abstract will be placed in the same area as the posters of related topics which were submitted by July 31.
Guidelines relating to presentation of research results
An important objective of the conference is to engage in lively debate and to exchange information by sharing the latest research results, including those that have not yet been published. In order to achieve this objective, we ask you to follow the guidelines set out below with respect to research presentations.
- The following behavior, which could seriously damage mutual trust among participants, is prohibited.
Capture/save (including screen capture), photographic, video or sound recording of raw data presented or displayed at the verbal presentation venue or the poster venue (including streaming) without the permission of the presenter.
Disclosure of the above research data to a third party via SNS or similar media without the permission of the presenter. - When making presentations, as far as possible, there should be no concealing of molecule names, methodologies, theoretical concepts or ideas that are central to the research.
- Presenters are to take responsibility for the handling of information relating to patent applications and the like.
- Presenters are required to disclose any conflict of interest in this meeting.

・Abstracts must be submitted by the presenters, whose names will automatically appear as presenters on online abstracts.
・Each presenter is allowed only one presentation at the annual meeting.
・Presenters may choose between Japanese or English for presentation / abstract submission language.
・It is recommended that posters and presentation slides be prepared in English.
・No new submissions or modifications will be accepted after the submission deadline.

Please prepare your abstract within the character limit beforehand, and copy/paste it into the submission screen.
※Graphical Abstract
Graphical abstracts are not required this year.
4.Authors’Index
The author’s index will be created based on the names entered by the authors.
If the spelling of a name is different, it will not be shown as the same person in the online abstracts.
Please be careful if your name will appear as an author on multiple abstracts.
5.MBSJ2025 Poster Award *Only Students are Eligible.
Students who have submitted general abstracts or LBA for the annual meeting are invited to apply for the MBSJ2025 Poster Award.
We encourage all students to apply!
Eligibility: Students (Student members of the Biophysical Society of Japan are also eligible to apply)
How to Apply: Please check the appropriate box when submitting a general abstract or LBA.
Selection Method: Submitted presentations will be judged at the venue on the day.
Notification of Award Winners: Award winners will be announced on the website after the meeting.
6.Abstract Submission Confirmation
A confirmation message will be sent automatically to the registered e-mail address after completion of abstract submission. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within a few minutes, please log in to the system again and check if your abstract submission has been completed properly.
7.Edit of Submitted Abstracts
You can modify a submitted abstract by logging into the system as many times as needed only during the submission period. A confirmation e-mail will be sent each time an abstract is updated.
Revision of abstracts are not accepted after the submission period. Please pay attention to the use of Greek alphabet, italics, superscript, subscript, and mathematical expressions.
Please also be careful to avoid errors or omissions in co-author information.
8.Withdrawal of Submitted Abstracts
You can withdraw a submitted abstract by logging into the system and clicking the “Delete” button. Please note that withdrawal after the submission deadline will not be accepted in principle.
